Sushmita Sen was born on 19 November 1975 in Hyderabad, Telangana. She is originally from Kolkata & her mother’s name is Subhra Sen while her father’s name is Subir Sen. Her mother is a jewelry designer & father is an officer in the Air Force. Susmita’s brother’s name is Rajiv Sen & sister’s name is Neelam Sen. Sush and Titu are her nicknames.
She is fond of writing poetry and prose & she lives on the 6th floor, Beach Queen, Yari Road, Versova, Andheri West, Mumbai. Sushmita Sen first came into the limelight after winning the Miss India title in 1994. The special thing was that he was competing with Aishwarya Rai for this title. She defeated Miss Aishwarya and won the title of Miss Universe. The same year Aishwarya Rai won the title of ‘Miss World’.
