At the young age of 15, Ina conducted her first-ever interview with the renowned musician Herbert Grönemeyer, marking an early milestone in her career. In 2000, she joined RBB station Radio Eins, primarily engaging in news presentation, program editing, and on-location reporting. In 2004, she made a significant shift, transitioning from the microphone and headphones to the camera and spotlight.

She stepped into the shoes of Sylvia Bommes as the host of the morning news on SAT 1 breakfast television. Additionally, she served as a substitute host for the news program, “Sat 1 News Die Nacht,” until its discontinuation in October 2007.

From 2010 to 2012, Ina Dietz took on the role of presenting the news program “Journal” at DW-TV, the Deutsche Welle television station.
