Eddie grew up alongside his younger brother, Chuck Farah, in a close-knit Arab-Christian community. His educational pursuits led him to the University of Florida, where he completed his undergraduate degree. He then earned a Juris Doctor degree from Samford University , Cumberland School of Law in 1979.
Currently residing in Jacksonville, Florida, Eddie is happily married to Reem Habayeb Farah. Together, they have four children—three daughters and one son.
Career
In 1979, Eddie was admitted to the Florida Bar, marking the beginning of his legal career. Undeterred by challenges, he founded his own law firm that same year, initially renting an office in the Florida Theatre building. A pivotal moment arrived in 1990 when Chuck Farah joined him, transforming the firm into the renowned Farah & Farah.
The firm’s growth was unstoppable, expanding into a Southbank high-rise. In a bold move, Eddie and Chuck invested five million U.S. dollars to restore a historic building into the sprawling three-story Farah & Farah headquarters.
Specializing in personal injury cases, the firm covers a broad spectrum, including medical injuries, workers’ compensation, social security disability, vehicle accidents, and slip and fall incidents. Eddie, in particular, excels in civil litigation, wrongful death, insurance, auto negligence, and personal injury cases.
Eddie Farah is not just a lawyer but he’s a community leader. Actively involved in various legal institutions, he is a member of The Florida Bar, The Jacksonville Bar Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and The Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers.
